Japanese Art Through Turkish Eyes
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s Republic Art Gallery (MAKSEM) is hosting an exhibition entitled, ‘Communications from Past to Future and Japanese Art Through Turkish Eyes’. The exhibition, which can be seen starting from May 2, consists of some 100 works by artist Semih Akdal, including paintings in oil, water color and acrylic as well as reliefs and mosaics. May 22 is the last day for this exhibition, which is part of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture and Japan Year in Turkey.
