SEE LOLLOPALOOZA ON ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY

Lollapalooza is a giant festival that for years has been squeezing into a single weekend a whole slew of musical genres, like alternative rock, punk rock, hiphop and heavy metal, that normally wouldn’t be caught dead together. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the festival is again hosting a number of big names.

More than a hundred musicians and bands will perform at the festival, to take place in Chicago’s Grant Park August 5 to 7. Among them are more the popular names like Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Eminem and My Morning Jacket as well as alternative bands like Lykke Li and Black Lips.

BEACH FUN IN PARIS

Once agaın beaches line the Seine in Paris. Paris-Plages is a giant event that lines the banks of the Seine with artificial beaches for a month every year. Sun, sand and a neverending series of concerts turn Paris into a beach holiday alternative through the 21st of the month.
