Aimed at strengthening the bridge of friendship between Turkey and Germany, Turkish Airlines is introducing twice-weekly Izmir- Frankfurt flights on June 13 and twice weekly Izmir-Munich flights on July 1. Meanwhile July 9 has been designated the starting date for the airline's new thrice-weekly flights from Istanbul to the Afghanistan capital Kabul.
Passengers traveling to Basra in Iraq on the other hand can transfer at Najaf, and passengers traveling to Sulaymaniyah can fly Turkish Airlines direct to that city.
