PIRATES FESTIVAL
Pirates Week, November 10 to 20, takes place in the Caribbean’s Cayman Islands. The festival features costume competitions, war games, food festivals and fireworks displays.

ICE SCULPTURE FESTIVAL
Hosted by the Belgian city of Bruges, this festival starts on November 25 and ends on January 15. Using close to 300 tons of crystal clear ice and 400 tons of fresh snow, the sculptures can reach as much as two meters in height.
