CURATED BY HÜLYA BİLGİ AND İDİL ZANBAK, THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF OTTOMAN EMBROIDERY ARE ON AT THE SADBERK HANIM MUSEUM.
Turkey’s first private museum, the Vehbi Koç Foundation’s Sadberk Hanım Museum is bringing visitors their embroidery collection in ‘El Emeği Göz Nuru’, a handicrafts exhibition starting on December 7. The exhibition encompasses the close-to 300-year history of Ottoman embroideries from the 17th to the 20th century through May 26, 2013.
AN EXTENSIVE COLLECTION
Featured in the exhibition are 167 carefully chosen examples from the Vehbi Koç Foundation’s Sadberk Hanım Museum collection.
THE HUMAN ADVENTURE AT AKSANAT
