Flight Alternatives On The Increase
Flight Alternatives On The Increase
A “Free Sale Joint Flight Agreement” signed recently between Turkish Airlines and Luxair enables the two airlines to make joint flights. Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines will be able to offer flights to Luxembourg via Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna using its TK code, and Luxair will be able to use its LG code on Turkish Airlines’ Istanbul- Frankfurt, Istanbul-Munich and Istanbul-Vienna flights. Turkish Airlines will be able to offer its passengers more flight alternatives thanks to the agreement.
TO LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
In a move to expand its presence in the region, Turkish Airlines recently joined ALTA, the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association. Stressing the importance of their joining the alliance, Turkish Airlines’ CEO, Temel Kotil, Ph.D., had this to say about the membership: “We believe that the Latin American and Caribbean market is important for international carriers. Joining ALTA is a strategic step that will enable us to operate more productively in the region.”
