Expanding The Flight Network
Already boasting the world’s seventh largest flight network, Turkish Airlines is adding new routes by the day. Launching its new flights to the Rwandan capital Kigali on May 15, the airline announced the flight with a press tour. CEO Temel Kotil, Ph.D., took part in the tour and briefed participants about the route.
Flights to Leipzig (Germany) and Bilbao (Spain) also got under way in May. Flights to the Scottish capital Edinburgh, to be launched on July 16, are slated to be four days a week. Another of the new flight destinations is the city of Taif in Saudi Arabia. Scheduled for three days a week, the Taif flights will start on June 11.
