Scorpions Invasion
Scorpions Invasion
They opened Roger Waters’ The Wall Concert, their rock you like a Hurricane was the Heavy Metal anthem of the 80’s, and their name is on the lips of everyone who loves this music.
Scorpions are visiting Turkey again with concerts at Izmir Arena on October 17 and Istanbul Küçükçiftlik Park on October 19. That they are still one of the world’s best-loved music groups may lie in their addressing several different tastes simultaneously. Rock You Like A Hurricane appeals to those who embrace the lively rock’n’roll lifestyle, Wind of Change represents a historic turning point that concerns the whole world, and Still Loving You is a paean to a love that was lost and won again.
Another special feature of this concert is that it will be one of our last chances to see Scorpions. The band has announced that it is giving up music after this Farewell tour, which has been underway since 2010.
FOURTH TIME IN ISTANBUL
The October 19 concert will be Scorpions’ fourth in Istanbul. The band performed in the city earlier in 1993, 2008 and 2010.
