Given by SKAL International Istanbul, the SKALITE awards found their recipients this year for the 14th time. And Galileo Turkey, which handles distribution for Turkish Airlines’ Department of Corporate Development and Information Technologies, was deemed worthy of the award for Best Global Distribution System (GDS).
Galileo is one of the world’s most advanced reservation systems, and the Skalite awards are widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the tourism industry.
