Turkish Airlines, official partner of Manchester United, on hearing the news that Edwin van der Sar was hanging up his giant gloves, decided to make a tribute film - not only to Edwin, but to all the legendary goalkeepers Manchester United has had in their rich history.

We believe great stories can touch people, so we made this  short football film together with Johan Kramer, the Dutch film director famous for the film called: The Other Final.

Preparations for the shoot took 2 weeks and were carried out  by production company 328 Stories. We managed to shoot the film in two full days in Manchester. On the first day we shot the football scenes as well as those at the house of little Ken. The second day we started at Old Trafford and then moved to  the set of Alex Stepney's house.

Alex Stepney, legendary goalkeeper of Manchester United and England, was great to work with and even kindly brought props for the shoot  including photographs from his years in football.

Our little goalkeeper Ken did an amazing job too. He really felt like he was the new goalkeeper of Manchester United, probably because he was the only one who was allowed to run on the magical pitch of Old Trafford! Ken who is completely crazy about airplanes and flying, realises  that a goalkeeper also flies and with that a magical journey begins. His mission? To takeover the giant gloves from Edwin van der Sar! 

This beautiful short film is a present from Turkish Airlines to all the football romantics in the world.
