Liquids In Hand Baggage

1. What kind of items I can take in my cabin baggage and how should I carry them?

In cabin baggage passengers may carry total 1 lt. liquids, gels, aerosols; each in maximum 100 ml in bottles, cans, tubes etc.

Every passenger may carry 1 zipped bag sized approximately 20cm x 20cm.

At the last security control liquid items in zipped bags must be removed from the cabin bag and x-ray screened separately.

2. What kind of items are restricted?

  • Water, syrup, alcoholic drinks,
  • cremes, lotions, oils, aromatic oils, parfums, make up items (except lipsticks)
  • shaving gels, shaving foams, deodorants
  • toothpaste
  • jams, honey, yoghurt, grape juice, tomato paste
  • contact lens solutions
  • shampoos and all similar items.

3. Exceptions

Medication, medicine in original package with prescription with passenger name written or with necessary document.

Baby food with baby permitted with amount needed during the flight.

By control points security attendant may consist exceptional submission or consist to taste medicine / baby food / liquid.

4. Bought items by Duty Free

The items that were bought from the Duty free, will be put in a special bag with the receipt and the bag will be sealed. These bags and receipt will be controlled at the security point and after that they will be allowed to the plane.

For the transit passengers, it is very important not to open the zipped bags till the final destination. Otherwise they might be taken by security at the transit point.
