Flexible travel rules

You can make changes to flight tickets purchased through June 31, 2022 for flights departing up to August 31, 2022 (inclusive). Not valid for Mainland China flights. Dates may vary for domestic flights. *

Please check the terms and conditions to learn more about Flexible Travel. Flexible Travel is available for flight tickets purchased by July 1, 2022!

  • *The right to change without penalty for domestic flights (including Ercan and Hopa) is valid for sales and ticketing completed by December 31, 2021. The original fare rules are valid for sales on all domestic flights as of January 01, 2022.
  • Not valid for flights to and from Mainland China.
  • For ticketing completed between March 21, 2020 and June 30, 2022 (inclusive), passengers can make unlimited changes provided the ticketed flight is scheduled to depart before or on August 31, 2022.
  • To change an existing ticket to an open ticket, the reservation must be cancelled prior to the first flight date on the ticket.
  • Changes can be made to the desired route for unused tickets. For partially used tickets, a change of route can only be made within the same group of regions as designated by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Although no penalty fee is applied for change transactions, charges may be incurred for fare differences.
  • Ticket changes can be performed through Turkish Airlines sales offices, the call center and online channels (for international tickets only), as well as the agency from which the ticket was purchased.
  • Cancellations for the purpose of changing the ticket to an open ticket must be performed through the Turkish Airlines call center, sales offices or the agency from which the ticket was purchased.
  • Additional charges will be collected for price differences arising from taxes, exchange rates and fare classes.
  • Within the scope of additional rights and pandemic conditions, within the travel periods determined for ticket changes (for flights to be made until August 31, 2022), in cases where flight planning is not made by the Company to the travel point on the passenger’s ticket and the alternative travel points offered are not suitable for the passenger, the ticket can be refunded without any deductions. Other refund and cancellation requests will be made in accordance with the current fare rules.
