The city center is 30 km from Lyon Airport and you can get there using the Rhône Express tramway. It costs €15.80 to get to the city center using the tramway and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the number 46 public bus service that departs from Terminal 1 Departures. It costs €2 and takes 15 minutes to get to the city of Meyzieu. From here you can take the T3 tramway to Lyon city center and tickets for the 30 minute journey cost €1.80
