When it comes to Fethiye bays and beaches, the first thing spring to mind is Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley, Kabak Bay, Saklıkent and Göcek. In addition to these bays and beaches, most popular swimming places in Fethiye include Gemiler Beach, Kıdrak Beach, Kabak Beach, Belcekız Beach, Kumburnu Beach, Çalış Beach, which is very close to Hisarönü and Ovacık Villages. Cennet Bay, Katrancı Bay and Günlüklü Bay is especially essential beaten tracks of the boat tours.

Where is Fethiye? 

One of the biggest districts of Muğla, Fethiye is located in the east of the city. Fethiye is surrounded by Antalya in the east, the Mediterranean Sea in the west, Dalaman in the northwest and Denizli and Burdur provinces in the north.


The first place that comes to mind when mentioning Fethiye beaches is Ölüdeniz. Ölüdeniz takes its name from its shallow and calm sea surrounded by an azure sea, white sands and verdant trees. Ölüdeniz consists of two parts: The first part is Belcekız, and the other part is where the lagoon is located. Kumburnu disconnects these parts. Ölüdeniz, which has been selected as the most beautiful beach in the world in 2006 and awarded again and again at other times, is one of the places to visit absolutely in Turkey.

Kelebekler Valley

Kelebekler Valley at the foot of the famous Babadağ famous for paragliding is one of the most important addresses of nature and camping tourism in our country. There are more than 70 butterfly species in the valley where you can reach by boats.

Kabak Bay

Kabak Bay, which is the best known of the Fethiye bays, is an untouched region until the 1980s located between the turquoise blue sea and the verdant forest. Located on the Lycian Way, this bay can be reached by walking on steep slopes by means of private off-road vehicles and boats. Don't go back until you see Aladere Falls when visiting the Kabak Bay. It is also possible to camp in Fethiye’s Kabak Bay.

Saklıkent - Saklıkent Canyon

We recommend that you reserve a full day for Saklıkent, a deep canyon opened by the snow waters flowing through Akdağlar. You can not only enjoy the sea, but also experience a full day with activities such as hiking and mountain hiking. Don't forget to eat trout in restaurants located on the canyon during your visit.


Göcek, which has become a brand in yacht tourism, comes to mind with Venetian villas and expensive marinas. It is also a complete beach paradise with its natural beauty and crystal clear sea. Even though there are many private beaches in Göcek, you should keep İnlice Public Beach in mind as preferred by Gökcek residents.
