Kebabs that you can’t get enough of

The famous Middle Eastern dish, kebab, is on one of the most well-known dishes in Turkish cuisine. Kebab, an essential Turkish dish, has a wide variety of recipes, ranging from cooking methods to ingredients.

The definition of kebab is to cook meat, without water, on coal or flame. There are plenty of ways to cook kebab meat; on oily cooking paper or in a saç, frying pan, tandoor, oven, pot, or stewed. Which Kebab, Which City?

The gastronomy center, Gaziantep, has many delightful kebab varities to offer, such as tike kebab, sini köfte (meatballs), garlic kebab and ayvalı tas kebab. In the back streets near Bakırcılar Çarşısı and the Zeugma museum, there are wonderful restarants brimming with the tastiest kebabs in the world. Adana kebab comes in at first place. There the meat is chopped with a knife similar to a cleaver. The trick is to prepare the kebab with lamb meat, lamb tail oil, pepper paste, chili pepper and salt. One of the best dishes in Erzurum, Cağ Kebab, is made from cured sheep meat. The meat kneaded with onion and pepper then skewered and cooked over a wood fire.
