Liquid and semi-solid substances in your checked baggage (hold baggage) having the risk of leakage, outflow and contamination will be admitted to the flight provided that they are packed properly (taking precautions against breakage, leakage, smearing and contamination).

The baggage piece concept applies to flights to and from Angola, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, Chad, Colombia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Japan, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Niger, Nigeria, Panama, Senegal, the Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Sudan, the United States of America, and Venezuela.
The package of the liquid substance to be transported is required to be vacuumed in a way to maintain the liquid inside, sealed, locked or placed inside a self adhesive bag and supported with a safeguard. Substances having the risk of leakage, outflow and contamination which are placed in containers not qualified as baggage such as cardboard/tin boxes, sacks, plastic bags or plastic cans will not be admitted to the aircraft under any circumstances whatsoever.
The liquid (except water without additives) to be carried in your checked baggage shall be placed in sealed packages with a maximum capacity of 1 liter each and the total amount of liquid shall not exceed 5 liters.
Food products: Edible oils (olive oil, etc.), pickled products, sauces, honey, molasses, milk, yogurt, canned goods, etc.
Water: Water not containing additives up to 5 liters in a single package.
Cleansing and cosmetic products: Shampoo, shower gel, cream, lotion, skin care oils, etc.
