Passengers flying to Turkey are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 72 hours prior to their flight and submit their test results during check-in. Passengers failing to submit a negative PCR test result for their flight to Turkey between December 30, 2020 (included) and April 30, 2021 (included) can change their reservation for another flight until May 31, 2021 (included) provided that the destination is the same or in the same IATA region, or request a refund.
Passengers can also create a voucher worth 15% more than the ticket price or top-up their Miles&Smiles account 100 Miles for every EUR 1 of the ticket price.

All our passengers to have a flight on the relevant dates will be exempt from the partial curfew restrictions to be applied as of Friday, 01 December 2020 as per the circular by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey.
Our passengers will be able to proceed with their transportation by submitting a flight document (mobile boarding pass or ticket screenshots) during the checks to be made in the restricted hours.

According to instructions issued by the Ministry of Interior, passengers under the age of 18 and over 65 must comply with the following rules on their international flights.

In accordance with the circular published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Turkish Airlines passengers with tickets for domestic and international flights will be permitted to travel during the partial curfew starting on November 20, 2020.

Due to the curfew in effect, for tickets issued before November 30, 2020 for flights between December 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021 (included) arriving to and/or departing from Turkey (excluding transit flights and including domestic flights and flights to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), passengers may refund or change their ticket under the conditions written below.
Change requests
Provided that the new reservation is in the same cabin class and destination area, you can change your tickets for Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet flights until May 31, 2021 (inclusive) without paying any change fee
Refund requests
For tickets issued before November 30, 2020 for flights between December 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021 (included) arriving to and/or departing from Turkey (excluding transit flights and including domestic flights and flights to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), a refund request can be submitted based on the following conditions.
Unused tickets: Passengers may obtain a refund regardless of the fare rules.
Used tickets: Passengers may obtain a refund under Involuntary.

Passengers who were unable to board the scheduled Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet flights between June 11, 2020 and April 30, 2021 because they were not accepted by the destination country and/or have a positive COVID-19 test result and/or unable to board their flights because of the PCR test applied for flights arriving to Turkey, may change their ticket, request a refund, change their ticket to an open ticket, or extend the validity of their ticket.
If the ticket is issued on or before April 30, 2021:
Ticket change, changing a ticket to an open ticket and refund transactions can be completed once in accordance with the terms and conditions of the flight and regardless of the fare rules.
Change requests
You can change tickets for Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet flights until May 31, 2021 without a fee, provided that your destination is in the same flight zone and your flight is in the same cabin.
Refund Requests
You can obtain your refund without paying a fee for individual and group tickets on Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet flights.

Change-to-Open Ticket
You can change your ticket to an open ticket without paying an additional fee.
Extension of the ticket period
You can extend the validity of your ticket until May 31, 2021, without paying an additional fee.
You can perform your ticket change/return transactions by applying to Turkish Airlines sales offices with a document showing the situation that prevents your travel or you can reach us feedback form. Passengers with tickets issued for flights between December 30, 2020 and April 30, 2021 but are not permitted to board the flights are not required to submit a document. You can perform your change-to-open ticket transactions through Turkish Airlines sales offices, the call center, and the agencies from which the ticket was purchased
For all Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet tickets issued or to be issued between March 21, 2020 and December 31, 2021 (included), passengers may change their reservation, change the route or change their ticket to an open ticket under the conditions written below, provided that their flights are cancelled before the first scheduled flight time of the original ticket. (It is not valid for flights arriving to / departing from China.)
Change requests
Other fare differences that may arise from the change (transaction fee, exchange differences, class, differences arising from date and destination changes, tax differences) are collected from the passenger. For partially flown tickets, the ticket change should be for the same IATA destination.
Change-to-Open Ticket
You can change your ticket to an open ticket without paying an additional fee.
Extension of the ticket period
You can extend the validity of your ticket until March 31, 2022, without paying an additional fee

As of August 8, 2020, passengers are required to submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test result during check-in for departures from Pakistan. Due to New Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have implemented changes in our Turkish Airlines Lounge services.
Turkish Airlines Lounge Miles&Smiles at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, Turkish Airlines Lounge Domestic at Istanbul Airport Domestic Terminal, Turkish Airlines Lounge Domestic at Ankara Esenboga Airport Domestic Terminal and Turkish Airlines Lounge Washington D.C. at Washington D.C. Dulles International Airport are providing services for our passengers, following the implementation of additional hygiene measures.
Turkish Airlines Lounges in Antalya and Izmir Airports are providing services as of April 1 2021, and Turkish Airlines Lounge in Bodrum is providing service as of April 5, 2021.
Other lounges will remain temporarily closed.
