Opening up to the world with Şakirpaşa Airport (ADA) located in the central county Seyhan; Adana hosts a large number of domestic and international flights every day. You may use cabs, buses, minibuses or airport shuttles for reaching the airport.
The buses numbered 135 and 159 operated by the Metropolitan Municipality of Adana swiftly reach the airport. Another alternative would be the minibuses, which follow the route of Girne and Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard within the city center. In addition, cabs are also at your service 7/24. Besides, as Adana Şakirpaşa Airport (ADA) is the sole airport of Çukurova region, it is frequently used by the passengers in nearby cities like Osmaniye and Mersin as well. Passengers from the city center and nearby cities may reach the airport also via the airport shuttles.

There are two international airports in Istanbul: Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). Both airports can be selected as the points of destination while booking your flight ticket to Istanbul from Adana. Although preferring the closest airport to your place of accommodation would be considerably favorable, there are a wide range of alternatives for reaching the city centers from both Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW).
Istanbul Airport is located on the European side, between Tayakadın, a neighborhood on the Black Sea coast, and Akpınar villages. Istanbul Airport is 35 km from the city center.

To reach the city center from Istanbul Airport, you can find taxis waiting outside the domestic and international terminals. Taxis take about 30 minutes to reach the city center and cost around 100-110 TL.
Located on the Anatolian side, Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is the point of destination for some of the flights departing from Adana. Buses, airport shuttles or cabs may be an alternative for reaching the city center.
The municipal buses SG-2, E-3, E-11 and SG-1, operated by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality get you to Taksim, 4th Levent and Kadıköy in a budget-friendly and comfortable way. You may also use airport shuttles, operating between the airport and Yenisahra, Kadıköy and Taksim almost all hours. Apart from these, you may also consider the options of taking a cab or renting a car.
