This large Middle Eastern city hosts three airports: Amman Airport (ADJ), known as “Old Airport” and used for a small number of flights, King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) and Queen Alia Airport (AMM). Flights from Amman to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines take off from Queen Alia Airport (AMM).
The most preferred means for reaching Queen Alia Airport (AMM) is the express buses. You may get to the airport via these buses from the seventh, fifth and forth districts, Housing Bank Complex and North Bus Station. Operating twice in every hour, these buses serve from the earliest hours till the midnight.
In addition to the buses, it is also possible to reach the airport via the cabs serving 7/24 in the city. Note that the accommodation facilities in Amman also offer transfer service. It would therefore be recommendable to contact your facility about airport transfer as well.

There are two international airports serving in the city: Istanbul Airport (IST) in the European side and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) in the Anatolian side. Passengers holding a flight ticket to Istanbul from Amman with Turkish Airlines land at Istanbul Airport (IST).

You can rent-a-car from the rent-a-car companies at Istanbul Airport (IST), or you can rent a taxi when there’s more traffic. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center by taxi, and costs around 100-110 TL. You can travel comfortably on the Airport shuttles at all most any hour of the day, and these shuttles reach many places in the city.
