It is possible to get from the city center to the airport by taxi. Istanbul Airport (IST) is located 35 km from the city center and the journey costs about 100 TL.
Passengers wishing to reach Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) via subway should make a transfer; it is possible to reach Kartal subway station via subway and change here to the municipal bus numbered KM22 heading towards the airport.
Those interested in using municipal buses may get on the bus numbered SG-2 from Taksim and E-3 from 4th Levent from the European side. Passengers in the Anatolian side may use the lines numbered E-11 and SG-1 from Kadıköy. The bus SG-1 serves as express stopping at only Çamlık and Yenisahra stations on E5 highway, whereas E-11 heads towards the airport stopping by each station.

You may use buses, trains and cabs for reaching the center from Tbilisi Airport (TBS). Buses numbered 37 and 137 setting off on the way out the terminal building reach the center following the route Samgori, Avlabari, Liberty Square, Rustaveli, Republic Square and Tamar Bridge. Operating in every 15 minutes, these buses get to the center within nearly an hour.
Cabs serving 7/24 on the way out the airport would be another option for those wishing to reach the center in a comfortable way.
It is also possible to use the trains from airport to the city’s main railway station. However, trains in this line serve between 08.45 and 18.05 every day.
