To avoid any problems during your journey, please pay attention to all our instructions concerning baggage. As baggage requirements are different for every flight, you will find the most accurate details on your reservation information and the baggage information on your ticket.

The maximum weight of any single piece of baggage on all our flights is 32 kg. We do not allow individual baggage items over the weight of 32 kg.

* Baggage allowance in fare classes XHQ(hopa) (Business Class) is 40 kg. 

The free baggage allowance on domestic flights operated by AnadoluJet is 15 kg for adult passengers and 10 kg for infants.

International flights

Baggage allowances stated for international flights refer to the lowest maximum allowed for each passenger. These allowances may vary according to the point of departure or destination. On our international flights there are no restrictions on the number of bags per passenger for flights which apply the baggage weight concept. The baggage piece concept applies to flights to and from Angola, Argentina, Benin , Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Japan, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Nigeria, Panama, Senegal, the Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South America, Sudan, the United States of America, and Venezuela.

Important notices

  • Free baggage allowance may vary depending on reservation class and route.
  • On flights from Brazil or Argentina to Turkey or beyond, the baggage allowance is 2 pieces. These may weigh up to 32 kg each for both Business Class and Economy Class passengers.
Passengers with Miles&Smiles Elite, Elite Plus and Star Gold cards are entitled to extra baggage in addition to the standard baggage allowance.

Infant passengers are entitled to 10 kg of baggage on each flight, and a baggage allowance of up to 23 kg on flights which apply the piece concept. In addition to this allowance, on all our flights we allow 1 stroller of a maximum length of no more than 115 cm. Baggage allowances for our child passengers are the same as those for adults.
