Buceo

Quizás desde Turkish Airlines no podamos llevarle directamente bajo el agua, pero podemos ayudarle a abrir las puertas de un mundo mágico bajo las olas al transportar su equipo de buceo hasta su lugar de destino.

Transporte de equipos de buceo en vuelos

Un equipo de buceo se compone de traje de buceo, chaleco de flotabilidad (BC), máscara, aletas, linterna subacuática, cuchillo, snorkel, arpón, calcetines de buceo, bombona de buceo y regulador. 

  • Las bombonas de buceo deben estar vacías. El medidor deberá indicar cero. 
  • El chaleco de flotabilidad debe estar desinflado. 
  • Se pueden llevar accesorios, como una linterna subacuática (lámpara de buceo) o un soldador, como equipaje de mano o equipaje facturado. A fin de evitar una situación inesperada durante el vuelo, deberá separarse la parte generadora de calor o la fuente de energía del equipo y embalarla para evitar que se active. Las baterías retiradas deben protegerse para evitar cortocircuitos. 
  • El arpón no estará montado y las puntas se embalarán por separado. 
  • Se admite con una funda especial o embalado adecuadamente. 
  • En vuelos nacionales, se aplica un cargo de 99 TRY por el servicio de transporte de equipos de buceo y el precio incluye el transporte de 1 equipo de buceo.
  • El cargo por equipaje especial se aplica en vuelos internacionales. 
  • Es obligatorio informar de su transporte. 
  • Dado que algunos tipos de aviones de nuestra flota no son adecuados para transportar mercancías de estas dimensiones, no olvide informar al personal correspondiente durante la reserva. Los equipos cuyas dimensiones no sean las adecuadas se pueden transportar en vuelos de carga.

On all flights departing from Malaga and arriving to Malé and on all return flights, one set of your diving equipment and one surf board will be carried free of charge until December 31, 2021. A fee will be charged for the second or more sets of diving equipment. The surf board's length can be maximum 2 metres. Diving equipment may consist of: Diving suit, flippers, 1 mask, 1 empty scuba tank (oxygen tank), scuba regulator, harness, tank pressure gauge, BCD jacket, dive light, 1 snorkel, knife, harpoon and 1 life jacket.

On all flights arriving to Manila and on all return flights from this destination, one set of your diving equipment will be carried free of charge between April 7, 2021 and December 31, 2021. A fee will be charged for the second or more sets of diving equipment. A fee of EUR 30 for sports equipment will be charged for flights from/to Maldives - Colombo with a stopover. Diving equipment consists of: Diving suit, flippers, 1 mask, 1 empty scuba tank (oxygen tank), scuba regulator, harness, tank pressure gauge, BCD jacket, dive light, 1 snorkel, knife, harpoon and 1 life jacket.

For all flights departing from the United Kingdom where that flight is the first departure point of the ticket; Malé, Aqaba, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada to and on the returns of these travels from the same destination, 1 set of your scuba diving equipment will be transported free of charge until 31 December 2021. Special fees will be applicable for than one set of diving equipment per person or if there is a voluntary stopover in Turkey which exceeds 24 hours. A fee of EUR 30 sports equipment will be charged for flights from/to Maldives - Colombo with a stopover.

On all flights departing from Ireland and arriving to Male (MLE) and on all return flights from this destination, one set of your diving equipment will be carried free of charge until 31 December 2021. Special fees will be applicable for more than one set of diving equipment per person. A fee of EUR 30 for sports equipment is charged for flights from/to Maldives - Colombo with a stopover.
On all flights arriving to Hurghada (HRG) and Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) and on all return flights from these destinations, one set of your diving equipment will be carried free of charge until 31 December 2021. Special fees will be applicable for more than one set of diving, kitesurfing and windsurfing equipment per person or if there is a voluntary stopover in Turkey which exceeds 24 hours.
For all flights departing from the United Kingdom and Ireland where that flight is the first departure point of the ticket; to Cape Town (CPT), Port Louis (MRU), Manila (MNL), Johannesburg (JNB), Durban (DUR), Dar es Salaam (DAR), Maputo (MPM), Muscat (MCT), Jakarta (JKT), Bangkok (BKK), Phuket (HKT), Seychelles (SEZ), Zanzibar (ZNZ), Tel Aviv (TLV), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Havana (HAV), Denpasar-Bali (DPS), Colombo (CMB), Antananarivo (TNR), Hanoi (HAN), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Aqaba (AQJ) and on the returns of these travels from the same destination, 1 set of your scuba diving equipment will be transported free of charge until 31 December 2021. Special fees will be applicable for than one set of diving equipment per person or if there is a voluntary stopover in Turkey which exceeds 24 hours.

On all flights departing from Tel Aviv (TLV) to Colombo (CMB) or Male (MLE), and on return flights from these destinations; 1 set of your diving or surfing equipment with a maximum length of 200 cm will be transported free of charge until 31 December 2021. Special fees will be applicable if the length of your surfboard exceeds 200 cm or for the second or more sets of diving equipment and surfboards, or in case the transit time at Turkey exceeds 24 hours.
