Sirha Lyon, the most important event of the gastronomy sector in the World will be organized at the French city of Lyon between January 26 and 30.

Sirha Lyon, organized every two years since 1983, hosts approximately 25,000 chefs and more than 20,000 sector professionals at each event. Sirha Lyon hosts competitions and activities like Bocuse d’Or, Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie and Omnivore, deemed as among the most important events of gastronomy world.

Participant themes



This year, Sirha Lyon’s themes will be food technology, halal food, healthy eating, retail sales for markets, catering, wines, wine boutiques, quality classification, organic food and beverages, processed and unprocessed food, snacks, sustainable development and productivity.

Transportation to Sirha Lyon



You can purchase a Lyon flight ticket to attend Sirha Lyon fair. After a direct flight to Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, you can easily travel to the Eurexpo building hosting the fair by mass transport or renting a car. It takes about 40 minutes to travel from airport to fair center with tram or bus.

Bocuse d’Or



Known as the Gastronomy Olympics where the best chefs of the gastronomy world compete, Bocuse d’Or will be organized in Sirha Lyon between January 29 and 30. 24 of the world’s most promising chefs will deliver their best performance for two days in Bocuse d’Or and try to win the most special award of gastronomy sector. Before the finals, the participants are required pass eliminations in intercontinental selection events such as Bocuse d'Or Europe, Bocuse d'Or Asia Pasific, Bocuse d'Or Latin America and for the first time Bocuse d'Or Africa.
