It takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center by taxi, and costs around 100-110 TL. You can travel comfortably on the Airport shuttles at all most any hour of the day, and these shuttles reach many places in the city.

Transportation from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to the city center

Located on the Anatolian side, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is 40 kilometers from the center and offers a couple of different alternatives for transportation, including airport shuttles, municipal buses and cabs. Those planning to use the buses may get on the bus numbered E3 to 4th Levent, E9 to Bostancı, E11 to Kadıköy, E18 to Altunizade and Umraniye and KM22 to Kartal Subway Station.
