A minimum of 1,000 Miles may be gifted in a single transaction under the Gift Miles service.
The price of Gift Miles is USD 30, including VAT, per 1,000 Miles.
Under the Gift Miles service, the gifting member’s existing Miles are neither used nor deducted from their account. The gifting member purchases the Miles by paying the applicable fee, and the purchased Miles are credited directly to the recipient’s Miles&Smiles account.
A member may receive a maximum of 250,000 Gift Miles in total from one or more members within a calendar year.
There is no annual limit on the total number of Miles a gifting member may purchase as a gift or on the number of recipients to whom they may gift Miles.
Gifted Miles do not qualify as Status Miles.
Gift Miles transactions may be completed through the Miles Transactions section after logging in to a Miles&Smiles account on our website or mobile application.
Miles purchased through the Gift Miles service and the fees paid are non-refundable.
Gifted Miles are subject to the general terms and conditions of the Miles&Smiles program.
