Transportation to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)

Passengers planning to use public transportation for reaching Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) have a couple of alternatives.

Municipal buses operating between the city center and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) serve in a number of different routes. Buses numbered SG-2 from Taksim and E-3 from 4th Levent transport passengers from the European side to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). On the other hand, buses numbered E-11 or SG-1 operate from Kadıköy and reach the airport.

Although the subway line in the Anatolian side does not directly reach the airport, you may transfer from Kartal Subway Station to the municipal bus numbered KM22 and get to the airport.

Setting off from Taksim, Kadıköy and Yenisahra stations, airport shuttles would be another alternative for reaching Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). In addition to all these, you may also use the cabs to get to the airport, which are available 7/24 in the city.

The bus numbered Z2 departs from the airport and reaches the center following the route Kamıslı Bulvar, Newros Parkı, Zümrütkent, Göletlipark, Yenihal, Kantar, Urfayolu, Batıkent, Koşuyolu, Adliye, and University. You may also rent a car from the car rental offices operating in the airport or easily reach the center via the cabs serving 7/24.
