There are a couple of alternatives for reaching Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). Passengers planning to use municipal buses to reach the airport may get on the bus numbered SG-2 from Taksim, E-3 from 4th Levent, E11 or the express bus SG-1 from Kadıköy.
Note that the urban subway line has no direct connection into Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). You may therefore get off the subway train at Kartal station and transfer here to the bus numbered KM22 to get to the airport.
Another public transportation option would be the airport shuttles; setting off from Taksim, Kadıköy and Yenisahra, these shuttles operate almost at all hours. In addition to all these, you may also consider taking a cab from anywhere in the city to reach Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW).
