Oslo Airport in Gardermoen (OSL) is the main airport of the city and 47 km from the city center. An express train (Flytoget) goes from the airport to the center, as do local trains. You can also take an express bus (Flybussen) for 15 euros, with the journey taking around 40 minutes.

In Oslo as in the rest of Norway, taxis can be somewhat pricey. A one-way trip between the airport and the city center comes to about 650 NOK, which is around 75 euros. Most taxi drivers have a fixed charge for the fare for weekends and nights as well, which can be a little bit more than that. To avoid being shocked by the fare, it's best to ask what the fixed rate is when you get in the cab.
