Earn and redeem Miles together with your family

With the Family Membership feature, Miles&Smiles members who are parents, together with their unmarried children under the age of 25, can pool their Miles in a single account and redeem them jointly.

What you need to know about Family Membership
  • Miles earned by your family members through Turkish Airlines flights, Star Alliance member airline flights, and program partners are credited to your Family Miles account.
  • Each family member’s individual Miles&Smiles account remains active. Status Miles earned from flights are credited to their own accounts and evaluated separately when qualifying for membership status.
  • To request Family Membership, you can submit a signed request along with copies of your family members’ identification documents (including your marriage certificate) via our feedback form.
  • When applying for Family Membership, the Miles&Smiles membership numbers of family members to be included must be provided on the application form. Those who are not yet members are required to enroll prior to application.
  • Family Membership is created upon the request of the primary member. A shared account is created, and all members included in the Family Membership can view each other’s account activities.
  • Family members may transfer unused Miles to the shared account. Such transfers do not affect their membership status.
  • Upon request, members can leave the Family Membership at any time. Additionally, unmarried children who turn 25 are automatically removed from Family Membership by the system. Once the member leaves Family Membership, Miles earning and redemption continue through individual memberships.
  • Miles accumulated under Family Membership are not transferred to the departing member’s individual account
  • Only Classic Plus, Elite and Elite Plus members can apply for family membership.
