Important notice regarding the fuel surcharge

Turkish Airlines applies a “fuel surcharge” and an “airline insurance fee.” We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The fuel surcharge for Turkish Airlines flights departing from Japan is as follows. Infant fares are exempt.

[Japan–Istanbul Route (Fares Departing from Japan)]

For tickets issued through April 30, 2026:

31,900 yen per person, one-way

For tickets issued from May 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026:

56,000 yen per person, one-way

Please refer to the table below for the special fuel surcharge (fuel surcharge) applicable to tickets departing from Japan that include routes beyond Istanbul.

For tickets issued from May 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026.

The fuel surcharge is determined by reviewing the price of aviation fuel (Singapore kerosene) and calculating the yen equivalent by multiplying the average fuel price (Singapore kerosene) over the past two months by the average exchange rate for that period. If the price falls below 6,000 yen per barrel, the fuel surcharge will be abolished for tickets issued on or after the 1st of the month two months later, as shown in the table below.
