What is Account Verification?

Account verification helps us confirm that the account belongs to you. This process provides an additional layer of security for the Miles earned from your flight and helps to ensure that Miles are used in accordance with the program’s rules and conditions. By verifying your account, you gain access to additional Miles&Smiles benefits, including booking award tickets for friends and family and using Miles in Shop&Miles. What are the steps to verify a Miles&Smiles account?

You can upgrade your Miles&Smiles account to verified account status by completing any of the following steps:

1. Complete the Quick Verification process*.
2. Book an Award Ticket under your name and complete the flight.
3. Add your Miles&Smiles number to your ticket and complete the flight.
4. Have a Miles&Smiles co-branded credit card.
5. Convert miles at specific rates using Miles&Smiles bank agreements.
6. If you are on a flight, become a Miles&Smiles member via the onboard Wi-Fi and have the flight credited to your Miles&Smiles account.
7. Enroll in the Smiling Doctors or Family Membership program.
8. Issue an Award Ticket from a sales office.

What is Quick Verification?

Quick verification is currently available only to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. This application lets you instantly verify your account by entering your identity/passport and biometrics into the Turkish Airlines Mobile App. After logging into your Miles&Smiles account via the Turkish Airlines Mobile App, you can complete the Account Verification flow under the My Account tab.
