Tips for adding passenger names

To avoid any delays or inconvenience at airports, please enter your name as it appears on the travel document. Once your reservation has been completed, name changes will not be possible.

Name and surname must not exceed 46 characters and must contain only alphabetic characters such as A-Z or a-z.

If there's no name for the passenger:



Enter FNU in the name field (First name unknown)

Name and surname on the travel document: - ANDERSON-

If the passenger has a middle name:



First name and middle name should be written together in the name field.

Name and surname on the travel document: AHMAD ALI SALAH

If there's no surname for the passenger:



The first name must be written in the surname field. Enter FNU in the name field.

Name and surname on the travel document: SOPHIE -

If there is a hyphen in the passenger's name or surname:



It should be indicated with a space instead of a hyphen.

Name and surname on the travel document: EMMA THOMPSON-JONES

If the passenger's last name has one letter:



The letter in the surname field must be written twice.

Name and surname on the travel document: ALEJANDRO G

If the passenger's surname has a suffix:



The suffix is added to the surname.

Name and surname on the travel document: DANIEL RODRIGUEZ JR.

If the passenger has two surnames:



Both surnames must be written together in the surname field.

Name and surname on the travel document: OLIVIA SMITH JOHNSON

If there is a special character in the passenger's first and surname:



The first and last name must be written without special characters.

Name and surname on the travel document: JOSÉ MARTÍNEZ GÓMEZ

If the passenger's name is too long:



The full first name should be written, followed by the initials of the other names.

Name and surname on the travel document: ANTONIO FERNANDO ALEJANDRO JAVIER GÓMEZ SÁNCHEZ

If the passenger's surname is too long:



The first surname should be written in full and the initials of the other surnames should be written.

Name and surname on the travel document: MOHAMMED BIN SAEED AL-MANSOORI AL-HASSANI AL-QASIMI

If the passenger's first and surname are too long:



If the first name exceeds 46 characters in total, only the first name and the full surname should be written.

Name and surname on the travel document: SOFÍA ALEJANDRA GARCÍA DE LA ROSA RODRÍGUEZ SÁNCHEZ
