Turkish Airlines passengers who are transferring between international flights through Istanbul Airport are invited to enjoy complimentary accommodation during their layover. We arrange every detail for your stay, including your transportation between the airport and the hotel.

Turkish Airlines hotel service terms and conditions

• Passengers traveling in Economy Class with a layover of 12 hours or more, and Business Class passengers with a layover of nine hours or more, are eligible for complimentary hotel accommodation if a shorter layover flight option is not available for their route. If a shorter layover flight is available, hotel accommodation cannot be used, even if that flight is fully booked. Although the flight search screen displays only those flights on your chosen date, there may be shorter transfer options available in the early hours of the next day. For instance, if you are searching for a ticket from Dubai to New York (JFK) for October 31, you might see the final Dubai to Istanbul flight on October 31 alongside the Istanbul to New York flight on November 1. Should you opt for the Dubai-Istanbul flight departing at 02:50 on November 1, you can connect to the Istanbul-New York flight scheduled for that same morning. Since there is an alternative flight with a shorter connection time, you will not be eligible for the hotel services.
• The transfer time is determined by the interval between the arrival time of the first flight and the departure time of the subsequent flight.
• Individuals under 18 years of age are not permitted entry to hotels unless accompanied by an adult.
• Passengers might receive accommodation for up to two nights.
• Passengers who alter their tickets may not qualify for this service.
• The service is not available to Economy Class passengers with transfer times of less than 12 hours or to Business Class passengers with transfer times of less than 9 hours, particularly in cases of fare changes. Changes to tickets can be made without incurring any fare difference or deduction amount.
• Turkish Airlines selects the hotels where passengers will stay from a list of contracted hotels, ensuring alignment with daily schedules.
• Passengers with connecting international flights can access hotel accommodation services through airports in Türkiye. The scope also encompasses ‘Codeshare flights’ that are operated by the Company as the ‘Carrier Airline’. This service is available to passengers who have connecting flights on the same confirmed ticket.
• As hotel services are unavailable in the transit area, passengers eligible for hotel accommodation due to a connecting flight must take responsibility for their own visa/passport and any regulatory requirements (e-visa, visa fee) necessary for entry into Türkiye.
