Transportation to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)

Some of the flights from Istanbul to Amsterdam with Turkish Airlines take off from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). Located on the Anatolian side, the airport is a bit more far from the center, compared to Istanbul Airport (IST). Nevertheless, Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) offers various alternatives in transportation.

The most practical option would be the railway. You may get to the Central Station by taking the trains serving in every one hour. It is possible to reach the center or Leidseplein via the buses numbered 197 operating from the airport in every 15 minutes.
