Birmingham Airport (BHX) is served by the Air-Rail line from Birmingham International Train Station, with departures throughout the day. To get to Birmingham International Train Station, take the train from New Street Station; choose between express and regular services. The train station can also be reached by buses numbered 75 and 91. In addition, the X1 or 97 buses, from the city center, serve Birmingham Airport (BHX), as does bus number 966, which departs from Solihull. National Express Coaches, a private airport shuttle service running between the airport and the city center, also provides all-day service. Taxis are available from anywhere in the city, any time of the day or night.
Istanbul Airport (IST)
Istanbul Airport (IST) Located in Arnavutköy, on Istanbul's European side, Istanbul Airport is approximately 42 kilometers from the Istanbul city center. After landing at the airport from London, you can reach the city center via the metro, taxis, municipal buses or airport shuttle buses or by renting a car. The IETT buses, numbered H-1, H-2, H-3, H-6, H-8, and the Gayrettepe - Istanbul Airport metro (M11) are convenient public transportation options operating between the airport and the city, as are the Havaist airport shuttles, which offer service to Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport, respectively.
