San Francisco International Airport is approximately 20 kilometers from the city center. The BART high-speed train, CalTrain and Airtrain, also known as air train, operate between the airport and the city center, as do taxis and SamTrans buses. In addition, car rentals are available at the airport.

Istanbul Airport, approximately 42 kilometers from the city center, is served by public IETT buses numbered H-1, H-2, H-3, H-6, H-8, as well as the (M11) Gayrettepe - Istanbul Airport metro line.
