Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB)
Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is in the Gaziemir district of Izmir, about 18 kilometers from the city center. The airport accommodates around 20 million passengers and 10 million passengers annually in terms of domestic and international flights, respectively. Municipal buses numbered 200, 202 or 204 operate between the airport and the city center, as does the İZBAN rail system. Havaş shuttles connect the airport with various points in the city. Taxis are also available. Passengers traveling in their own vehicles can take advantage of the airport's indoor and outdoor parking facilities.
Istanbul Airport (IST)
About 42 kilometers from the city center, Istanbul Airport (IST) is a major aviation hub located in the Arnavutköy district on the city’s European side. A number of transportation options are available at the airport: public IETT buses numbered H-1, H-2, H-3, H-6 and H-8 operate between the airport and various points in the city, as does the (M11) Gayrettepe - Istanbul Airport metro line and the Havaist airport buses, which operate to the airport from stops in Avcılar, Bakırköy, Beylikdüzü, Halkalı, Kadıköy, Şirinevler, Taksim and Zincirlikuyu, among others. Taxis are available in designated locations at the domestic and international passenger exit gates of the Plaza level section.
