The FlyAway buses are a popular choice for transport between the city center and Los Angeles International Airport. Other public transportation options are the Green subway line; passengers can disembark at the Aviation station and transfer to the Lax Shuttle G buses. Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA)
Imam Khomeini International Airport is around 50 kilometers from the center of Tehran. Public transportation options between the airport and city center include the subway, which has a station accessible from the first floor of Imam Khomeini International Airport; via the Red metro line 8, it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the Tehran city center. In addition, minibuses are available at the airport exit and there’s a 24/7 taxi service.
