Turkish Airlines offers three direct flights in average every day from Istanbul to Nevşehir. Istanbul Airport (IST) is located on the D20 road. Even though the airport is approximately 35 km from the city center there are many transportation options available to passengers.
When it comes to public transport, the scheduled IETT buses and Havaist shuttles depart from many spots in the city. If you would rather not use public transport you can catch a taxi. Guests that want to travel privately and with ease can rent a car from car rental companies based at the airport. It takes around 30 minutes to reach the airport from the city center by taxi and costs around 100-110 TL.

Passengers travelling to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (IST) for their flights to Nevşehir may use the buses, airport shuttles and cabs to reach the airport.
If you are planning to use the public transport, you may get on the bus numbered SG-2 from Taksim or E-3 from 4th Levent to get to the airport. Those travelling from Kadıköy may use the express line SG-1, or the line E-11 operating by stopping at every station.
Passengers wishing to reach Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) via subway may get off the subway at Kartal station and transfer here to the bus numbered KM22 heading towards the airport.
Another public transport alternative would be the airport shuttles, departing from Taksim, Kadıköy and Yenisahra. You may also use the cabs serving 7/24 in the city to reach Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) comfortably.

It is possible to use the airport shuttles, setting off from the airport and reaching the central points like Nevşehir University and Forum Kapadokya within nearly thirty minutes.
Apart from the airport shuttles, you may also reach the center via the cabs serving 7/24. It is also possible to rent a car to ensure a smooth transport during your stay.
