The world’s new meeting point, Istanbul Airport (IST) is located on the European continent, between Tayakadın, a neighborhood on the Black Sea coast and Akpınar villages, is approximately 35 km from the city center. There are plenty of ways to reach the airport from the city center.
The quickest way is by taxi, you can reach the airport in approximately half an hour for around 100TL. If you want to benefit from public transport, you can use the IETT buses or the Havaist shuttles.

Passengers travelling to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) for their flights to Trabzon have a couple of different alternatives for transport.
Those planning to use public transport may get on the municipal bus SG-2 from Taksim, or E-3 from 4th Levent. Passengers in Kadıköy may use the express bus line SG-1, or, E11 which operates stopping by all stations. The subway line in the Anatolian side does not serve till the airport. It would therefore be another option to get off the subway at Kartal station and change here to the municipal bus numbered KM22 heading towards the airport.
Airport shuttles, on the other hand, set off from Taksim, Kadıköy and Yenisahra. Passengers looking for a more private option may always use the cabs operating 7/24 in the city.
