PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
You can use the rail system and express buses to travel between Berlin Branderburg Airport (BER) and the city center (Alexanderplatz). The public transportation system operates in connection with T1, T2 and T5 terminals. It is possible to reach the city center in 30 minutes with the airport express and regional train services (U-Bahn), which are operated four times an hour from the T1 terminal. In addition, the S9 and S45 S-Bahn train lines run to the city center every 20 minutes. It takes an average of 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach the city center by S-Bahn. Express buses X7 and X71 travel between Rudow metro station (U7 terminal) and both terminal locations (T1 and T5). To reach the Terminal 1 takes 18 minutes. In addition, the express buses BER1 (Steglitz Town Hall - BER T1/2) and BER2 (Potsdam Central Station - BER T1/2&T5) run several times a day to Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
