How to connect

The TKCONNECT application process is straightforward, and our team supports you at each step. Read the outline below or open the TKCONNECT Application Guide (PDF) for full detail. To apply, complete the TKCONNECT application form on the Agency Portal.

Before you apply Learn more

IATA-accredited agencies and non-IATA agencies (including TIDS agencies) can apply. Decide your reconciliation type (BSP or Non-BSP) and the payment methods you intend to use. If you will not settle through BSP, you sign a Direct Settlement Agreement during onboarding.

Non-IATA agencies can also sell as a sub-agency of an IATA-accredited parent agency that has already applied to TKCONNECT. The sub-agency must be a branch of the parent agency or belong to the same consortium. For the TKCONNECT UI, no technical preparation is needed.

To connect through an aggregator, choose one of our certified aggregators (see Partner ecosystem). You select it in the application form.

For a Direct Connection (API), you need a development team that can build and maintain the integration.

After the pre-application, you continue the main application with the email address you applied with and your Tracking ID, so keep both.

A dedicated solution for TIDS agencies is under development. TIDS agencies can already join as non-IATA agencies.

Step 1: Start with online application form

"This step takes you from your application to approval and signed agreements:

  1. Fill Out the Form – Provide the required details and select your role (as an Agency, an Aggregator or other).
  2. Sign the NDA – Complete and sign the non-disclosure agreement.
  3. Approval – Your local sales team and the NDC team review your application and check that you are eligible. Most applications are reviewed within 3 business days.
  4. Sign the Agreements – Once your application is approved, sign the TKCONNECT Agreement. Agencies that do not settle through BSP also sign a Direct Settlement Agreement and a standard IT Security Commitment Agreement.
  5. System Check (Direct Connection only) – We review your technical readiness and confirm the next steps with you

Step 2: Choose your connection type

We offer flexible connection options tailored to your business and technical capabilities.

Note: If you connect through an aggregator or a Direct Connection (API), you also receive TKCONNECT UI access.

Available connection types:

  1. UI Web Portal (For non-technical users)
  2. via an Aggregator (for those using third-party providers)
  3. API (Direct connection)

Each method delivers real-time data, comprehensive functionality, and an intuitive user experience.

Connection Type 1: UI Web Portal (For non-technical users)

  1. Log in – Access the platform with secure credentials after your application is approved.
  2. Navigate – Use the intuitive dashboard to search and book flights
  3. Manage Bookings – Modify, cancel, or update reservations with just a few clicks.

Best for: agencies that want to sell and service Turkish Airlines NDC content without any development.

Not ideal for: agencies that need Turkish Airlines content inside their own booking or mid-office systems; consider an aggregator or a Direct Connection (API).

You will need: an approved application and users with the Ticket Sale role.

Connection Type 2: Via an aggregator

If you work with a third-party provider or plan to do so, you can connect through a certified aggregator:

  1. Apply as an Agency – Select “Agency” in the application form. You will also choose your preferred aggregator.
  2. 2. Set up with your aggregator: ask your aggregator for its setup guide for Turkish Airlines NDC content and follow it.
  3. Testing – Run initial tests to ensure compatibility and smooth operations.

This option lets you keep your existing workflow while accessing our extensive inventory.

Connection Type 3: API (Direct connection)

For partners who want a customizable and direct integration:

  1. Access Documentation – Once approved, you’ll receive detailed API documentation.
  2. Integration – Implement the API into your system for real-time data and booking capabilities.
  3. Testing – Conduct thorough testing to ensure accurate data exchange and optimal performance.

This option gives you maximum control and flexibility in tailoring functionalities.

Step 3: Certification and testing (Direct Connection partners and aggregator companies)

Partners that integrate with our API, whether a Direct Connection partner or an aggregator company, complete certification before going live. Agencies that connect through a certified aggregator follow their aggregator's setup and test steps instead.

  1. Compliance Check – Verify technical and performance standards.
  2. Testing – Run comprehensive tests to identify and resolve any issues.
  3. Certification – Receive official approval confirming readiness for launch.

Note: TKCONNECT UI partners do not need certification.

Step 4: Go Live!

  1. Final review – Confirm your setup and configurations.
  2. Launch - start selling Turkish Airlines NDC offers, including channel-specific offers and campaigns where applicable.
  3. Ongoing support – Access continuous support and regular updates to maximize the benefits of TKCONNECT.

Note: Once you are live, service every TKCONNECT booking through TKCONNECT only, never through a GDS or another channel in parallel. If your channel cannot complete a servicing action, see Support and updates for where to go.
