TAXI:

The only way to get to the city center from Imam Khomeini International Airport is to use the taxi service operated by the company, Seiro Safar, and which leaves from the International Arrivals area. You can get from the airport to anywhere in Tehran for 650 thousand Iranian rial (about 20 US dollars). If you are prepared to bargain, the taxi ride from the city center back to the airport will cost you from 600-900 thousand Iranian rial. Please note that Tehran has extremely heavy traffic from 07:00-20:00 so you should leave 1-1½ hours to make the 60 km journey to the airport from the city center.
